David McAlpin, Al Rhode, Godrey Rockefeller, Georgia O'Keeffe, and Helen Rockefeller are the campers gathered around the campfire and the food prep table, pots and pans, and coffee cups, etc. O'Keeffe, in a long black coat, leans over the Rockefellers to peer into one of the pots. Scenic backdrop with body of water, pine tree groves and mountain peaks in background. This photograph is part of an album created by Ansel Adams after his 1938 trip to Yosemite with Georgia O'Keeffe, David McAlpin, and Helen and Godfrey Rockefeller. This is one of only three albums created for his travel companions documenting their trip.
